As a live DJ Vidler builds his audience into a frenzy broaching all flavours the electronic music spectrum. Intertwining 90s acid house synths, nu-electro grooves, splurts of mashed-up indie, D&B and bursting breaks all add to his buzz. His knowledge and extensive record collection means nothing of any significance is missed and frequently ‘mashed up’ in true Vidler style.
The recent album ‘Mashed’ released in Feb 2007 was the first fully legal mash up album of its kind and entailed a minefield of clearances and major label support. Propelling Vidler into the popular music arena the album has sent his sonic tapestries into the charts both sides of the Atlantic.
