On this day in 1987 Echo & The Bunnymen released their cover version of The Doors ‘People Are Strange’. Recorded for the cult film The Lost Boys it featured Ray Manzarek on keyboards & production. Due to the popularity of the film it was re released 3 yrs later charting on both occasions.

As well as 'The Killing Moon' being featured in a 1985 BBC Old Grey Whistle Test segment the band also performed 'Bedbugs & Ballyhoo'. It was also filmed in the legendary Bunnymen flat on Aigburth Drive in Liverpool.
